Ensure you have uninstalled any previous versions of Vanced MicroG to avoid package conflicts. The official YouTube app does not need to be uninstalled.
Download Components
Download the latest supported MicroG APK and the Morphe YouTube APK from the releases page.
Install MicroG
Locate the downloaded MicroG APK in your file manager and tap to install. If prompted, allow installation from unknown sources.
Install Morphe YouTube
Install the main Morphe application. Once installed, launch the app.
Open Morphe, tap the profile icon, and sign in with your Google account via the MicroG interface.
MicroG Setup
MicroG is an open-source reimplementation of Google's proprietary Android user space apps and libraries. It's required for signing in to your Google account within Morphe apps.
Why is MicroG needed? Morphe apps use a different package signature than the official YouTube app, so they can't use the built-in Google Play Services for authentication. MicroG bridges this gap.
